In today’s digital world, cybersecurity is more than a technical issue; it’s central to building a resilient organization. CRI’s Cyber Readiness Program focuses on the foundational behaviors that help prevent cyber attacks and ensures your team knows how to respond if one occurs. As we discussed in last week’s newsletter, cyber readiness is a valuable stepping stone to more advanced standards such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.
If your organization is working to strengthen its cyber readiness, consider taking the next step by becoming CRI Certified Cyber Ready. Certification demonstrates your commitment to customers, partners, and your own employees.
At the heart of the certification process is the Cyber Readiness Playbook, which is part of the free online Cyber Readiness Program. The Playbook is more than a static document to put on a shelf; it’s the living record of your organization’s security policies, priorities, and incident response plan. The companion Playbook Guide follows the same structure, providing an easy-to-use reference as you develop and maintain your Playbook.
Once your Playbook is complete, the CRI team will review it to verify you have successfully implemented the program’s core principles. Achieving CRI Certified Cyber Ready status is an important milestone that offers several significant benefits:

Our team will evaluate your Playbook and provide feedback. If it meets our certification requirements, we will issue your certificate. If revisions are needed, we will provide clear guidance so you can make the necessary changes and resubmit them.
