CRI and CCTI Phased Critical Infrastructure Pilot: Resilience for Water Utilities
During the next year, Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI) and Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation (CCTI) at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies will conduct a pilot initiative, called the Phased Critical Infrastructure Pilot: Resiliency for Water Utilities, to provide small water and wastewater utilities with basic cybersecurity training and promote a culture of cyber readiness. Microsoft is sponsoring this initiative to help address the challenge of securing the Nation’s water infrastructure from cyber threats. The pilot is based on the CRI’s Cyber Readiness Program (CRP), which is designed to assist small and medium-sized businesses in improving their cybersecurity risk management and their ability to respond and recover from a cybersecurity incident.
What to do in the Program
The Program focuses on human behavior with information on key cyber issues and transitions into a plan for implementation. Cyber Leaders in the Water Sectors are led through two stages sequentially, to first build a foundation of understanding, then turn that knowledge into action. Please see below details on each stage to complete. Please contact the CRI team at waterutilitiessupport@cyberreadinessinstitute.org with any questions or requests for access.
