Command Control Joins the CRI Champion Network

WASHINGTON, DC, June 11, 2019 – Command Control, the European cybersecurity conference, today was named a Cyber Readiness Champion, enabling senior decision makers attending its annual conference to receive free cyber resources and tools from the Cyber Readiness Institute(CRI).

As a Cyber Readiness Champion, Command Control attendees will now be able to access and implement cybersecurity best practices from senior executives at global companies as well as integrate cyber readiness programs into their corporate cultures to make their organizations safer, more secure and resilient in the face of cyber threats.

“Our partnership with CRI started last year when Craig Moss, director of content and tool development, challenged our audience to secure their value chains and reduce third-party cyber risk,” said Katharina Keupp, director of Command Control. “We are pleased to partner with an organization that shares our goals of raising cybersecurity awareness and delivering industry best practices to make companies of all sizes cyber ready.”

Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers, Chief Executive Officers and Governance Risk and Compliance Professionals attend Command Control to learn about forward-thinking models, concepts and solutions for cybersecurity via best-practice workshops, peer-to-peer sessions, panel discussions and keynote speeches.

The CRI Cyber Readiness Program, convened by global enterprise leaders, is designed to educate and equip small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with tools and resources to address four primary cybersecurity issues: authentication, phishing, patching, and USB use. The Program focuses on making basic cyber policies and processes an integral part of a company’s operations to engage the entire workforce, create a culture of cyber readiness, and build a more cyber secure and resilient organization.

“Cybersecurity knows no boundaries. We are pleased to continue the use of our tools across mainland Europe,” said Kiersten Todt, managing director of the Cyber Readiness Institute. “Events such as Command Control are critical to educate our global business leaders about safeguarding their organizations, protecting their customers, and securing their partner networks. We welcome Command Control as a Cyber Readiness Champion.”
