CRI and Cybersecurity Collaborative to Offer Free Webinar Series

Washington, D.C, April 22 — The Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI), in partnership with the Cybersecurity Collaborative, will offer a series of free webinars designed to provide practical, easy-to-implement ways for small to medium-sized enterprises (SME) to strengthen their cyber defenses and protect their employees and customers.

On May 7 (@ 12 pm EST), Kiersten Todt, Managing Director of CRI, and Matt Stiak, director of cyber risk management at Delta Dental, will conduct the first webinar, Beware the Phishers. Learn how to identify phishing attempts that manipulate your employees to share sensitive information like passwords by clicking on a link or attachment. These actions can put malicious software on your network, putting your organization at risk. You can register for Beware the Phishers here.

In the coming months, we will announce additional speakers. The webinars in this series will include:

Update Your Software, June 13

Improve Your Password Game, September 19

The Dangers of USBs, November 14

We hope you can join us!

About Cyber Readiness Institute

CRI is a non-profit organization that works to help small- and medium-sized businesses improve their cyber readiness in order to secure global value chains. Toward this goal, CRI offers a free, non-technical, self-guided Cyber Readiness Program that focuses on the critical cyber issues for SMEs, notably phishing, patching, authentication, and the use of removable media. CRI works with partners–we call them Champions–to distribute our tools to SMEs around the world to raise awareness about the importance of cyber readiness for small businesses. When companies are cyber ready, they are cyber strong.
